BlackBerry Monaco Touch: Understanding the latest BlackBerry Touch Phone

In the world market, BlackBerry is one of the most respected and sought after phone; and because of its trendy style and efficiency, demand is high. Every time BlackBerry launches a new Smartphone, the response is overwhelming because the public knows the product will be exiting. From business people to companies, they are ordering the BlackBerry, especially the BlackBerry Touch.

In addition, rich in features and applications, the BlackBerry Monaco Touch is a must have item. The phone is fully touch screen, different from either the BlackBerry Torch Telus or BlackBerry Torch Bell. The Monaco Touch is different to everything from the BlackBerry Storm family. Negative criticism hit the Storm due to its clicking screen, thus the Monaco Touch was created. Some of the features integrated into this phone include:

• 3.7 inch TFT capacitive touch screen which means that the screen responds to human touch only. The use of a stylus or gloved hand will not work. Thus the Monaco Touch will respond even to the lightest touch.

• Crisp, clear 480 x 800-pixel screen resolution.

• 16 million color resolution.

• Presence of an optical track pad which is a response that detects the misplacement of a finger on the phone.

• Accelerometer that enables autorotation. Once the phone turns, the screen automatically turns.

• Proximity Sensor - a feeler that detects objects in close proximity to the phone. With this feature, the phone can switch off automatically.

• Integrated 5 megapixel camera with automatic focusing, LED flash and image stabilization.

• Internal capacity of 4GB and expandable to 32GB with a 1.2GHz processor for fast operation. The Operating System is a new BlackBerry 6.1 that supports amplified reality applications.

• BlackBerry ID - with the BlackBerry Monaco Touch you will not need a PIN to access the phone. After purchase, you will be issued with an ID to the BlackBerry database so that you can freely operate the Smartphone. On the upside, this will reduce the rate of theft and insecurity. However, the downside is that if you forget your ID and password, the phone is useless.
The phone has not yet been released, but the market is anxiously waiting for it. As with all other BlackBerry Smartphones, high expectations are the norm; and more so with the BlackBerry Monaco Touch. Most critics want to test out the new operating system to see how it performs.
