Touch Screen BlackBerry Monaco

BlackBerry no doubt made the right decision to add a touch screen to its list of amazing BlackBerry features. Though the norm with most other phone companies, it took RIM some time to get used to the idea that the touch screen was fast gaining popularity over the QWERTY keyboard. A couple of years down the line, however, they have accepted that fact and come up with their own versions of the touch screen that are able to rival those of other phones. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 release date and that of the BlackBerry Monaco have been waited for with bated breath by thousands of BlackBerry users all over the globe.

The Monaco, in particular, is fully touch screen, just like the modern Tablet PC. Being the first all touch screens, a new move from RIM, it features the biggest screen in all of the BlackBerry world. It is a very long 3.5 inches, having 480 by 800 pixels of resolution. It might not really rock among QWERTY keypad lovers, but for the modern and youthful generation, it will definitely cause a few ripples of excitement amongst them. Bearing a 120 by 62 by 11.5 mm form factor, the phone is also relatively thin compared to its predecessors with only a few phones beating it, like the BlackBerry Bold 9900 which is 10.5mm thick.

Performance-wise, this phone takes down its predecessors rather easily. It sports a 1.2 GHz processor that suffices to make the phone much faster than most phones before it. 8GB of internal memory that is expandable using a 32GB micro SD card makes it one of the most memory endowed phones RIM has released to date. Even the Bold 9900 with 4GB internal memory bows to this particular phone. RIM chose to stick to its BlackBerry operating system and so far they are up to OS 7, which of course features in the Monaco. An excellent platform when compared with the ones before it, it still simply doesn’t beat Google’s Android. The team of engineers will have to really try to create a platform that will take down the iOS and the droid in terms of apps capability. The phone also packs 768MB, which works perfectly with the 1.2 GHz processing power to fire up the phone to lightning speed operations. High quality 720p video recording is made possible by the 5MP camera that is embedded within the phone. Anyone going out to get themselves a touch screen phone will have a blast taking a look at this one.

How Smartphones Embrace Information and Entertainment

Many companies in the world today are looking for the right places to invest their cash. This is evident in the eruption of the many companies in the world today. With this advancement comes the wireless communication that is the talk of the day in all the economies in the world all over. Fuelling this was also the invention of the smartphones that consider the wireless technology for their use.

Smart phones are known to be more than a communication device or a mobile phone as many would view them to be. This deviation is mainly brought by the fact that the applications that it comes along with dictate it to be so. These features can be those that offer the user entertainment from its multimedia stock, and enable you to browse the web, as well as send and receive e-mails. Therefore, a core serves the purposes of both voice as well as an information and entertainment device. It can also be viewed to be somebody’s personal assistant that is made in the digital technology.

However, there are smart phones that can host other high quality software and are of importance to the user. In addition, they have QWERTY keyboards, which are more or less the same to those that the computer like laptops has, and an MP3 player. Also in the list is that they have a GPS system that allows one to locate the position of wherever place that he or she wishes to know.

The touch screen phones also have the applications that are present in the smart phones. The aim of the companies that are participating in this sector is the user satisfaction that they had so much at heart and therefore came up with the BlackBerry. It has features that transform it from an only voice device to an information and entertainment device.

These devices also have the FM radio that one can listen to his favorite station when he or she is working or in his leisure time. The in-built camera can be used for either entertainment or information. It is for entertainment as one can decide to take photos when he or she goes for a trip or vacation. These can be informational when you have to send a photo to someone for the official purposes like seeing the business partner when he or she is committed to do something else.

Silver – White Gold: From ancient times to modern times

Silver – the white metal, a class of its own. The most traded commodity in the market after gold. Though traded as ingots or coins by men, women have a lust for silver as jewelry. Leave alone the jewels, silver finds a major place as utensils. The presence of a silver utensil on the dining table adds a lot of grandeur to the place.

The bond between man and silver usage dates back to centuries. Many civilizations have used silver as a trading entity or in common terms ‘money’. Plenty of Greek and Roman civilization coins can still be witnessed in museum’s around the world. Romans and Greeks had a lust for silver ornaments and maybe we can call them as the inventors of silver rings to this world. The white metal had its enormous growth during the 2nd century AD when the romans used it as a major part of their currency.

Apart for the use of silver as jewelry and utensils, ancient people were very much interested in making artifacts out of this unique metal. Several artifacts made out of silver can still be seen till date. In fact the use of Silver coins have been indicated during the period of Jesus Christ too.

The early 16th and 17th centuries saw the usage of silver as a trading commodity as man began to move around the world for trade. Hundreds of stories of silver coin treasures being carried around the world in ships and some being sunk in the sea are still around. The lust for this metal has been growing steadily ever since that and continues to grow in the modern days too.

Modern day silver had a great deal of applications in all kinds of industry from chemical to semiconductor. But still silver has a unique place in the heart of the humans. It’s also termed as the poor man’s gold. Human’s attachment with silver continues and a major chunk of the silver mined or produced is used for ornamental jewelry purpose. The sterling silver jewelry what we see around from the pendants, bracelets, hair barrettes chains, rings, are all silver bracelet, a variant of silver used mainly for jewelry. In fact silver can be coated with a fine layer of gold to give it a look like gold jewelry. This ability to make silver look like gold has won the hearts of women around the globe.

Apart from the same, silver in any form be it ingots or jewelry or utensil will always been considered as an investment for a long time apart from its functional aspect.

The Bold 9900 and Torch 9810 Finally Out

So you have been going on and on about how you still own the oldest phone in your crew because RIM haven’t offered you anything new to go on yet. Well, now is about the time to stop whining. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 release date has been scheduled for August 10. One would, of course, love to walk out of their home and into the nearest store to pick up one of these phones, but that is not about to happen yet, unless you live next to Rogers. The Bold is not the only phone they have up for grabs, however. The BlackBerry Monaco is another toy that will be released soon, while the BlackBerry Torch 9810 is also scheduled for release on August 12.

The release of a new phone can be super exciting, but what value will it add to your life, you may wonder? First off, BlackBerry does not have a phone that is quite as eye catching as the Bold 9900. RIM made sure to drop a few jaws with the design of this model. It features a sleek black chassis that has a sort of vague glimmer in the light. A very slim design went into its creation, RIM knowing full well that a huge baggy phone is not exactly one’s idea of the perfect phone. A slim sleek shape that will easily slide into a pocket makes the Bold 9900 BlackBerry’s slimmest smart phone.

The Torch 9810 may not really be new to most BlackBerry fans. It was released in 2010 amid much pomp and pageantry, only for the phone to record disappointingly low sales. Well, the sales weren’t really low per se, but when put side by side with the sales of other popular brands, it is accurate to say that BlackBerry’s sales were not at the top of the league. This time RIM has come up with the same phone but has made several modifications to it to make it the Torch 2. Disappointingly, the phone size remains the same, a huge bulk when compared with say the Bold 9900. The weight too did not change a bit. The new Torch 9810, however, is endowed with generous processing power, doubling up against that of its predecessor. The new OS 7 on the new 9810 also gives it an advantage over the previous version.

The Tablet PC from RIM is also gaining recognition, as fans eagerly await new releases.

New Blackberry Bold Phone - Blackberry 9700

The size, thickness, speed and strength are some of the factors that may influence your decision when searching for a new Blackberry phone. This was the basic idea that prompted the invention of the new BlackBerry Bold phone – the Blackberry 9700 as a replacement for the Bold 9000.

The Bold 9000 caused a lot of excitement when it was first released on the market. This is mainly because it had HSDPA/3G functionality. However, today 3G is a typical feature of any other smart phone available on the market today. Therefore, this factor cannot really influence the decision on which Blackberry smart phone to buy, taking into account the modern day market situation. However, one important enhancement has made the Bold 9700 very popular. This is definitely the exchangeable keyboard that people with large fingers find very useful. This improves their typing, especially if they regularly compose emails and documents, thereby avoiding some of the common frustrations associated with the complexity of using these devices.

The Blackberry Bold 9700 is a smaller and lighter design than the earlier Bold 9000. It is also technologically superior to the 9000. Weighing 122 grams, the Bold 9700 is half the weight of the Bold 9000 device with a weight of 133 grams.

While the Bold 9000 comes with a 2 megapixel camera which looked great at the time of its release on the market, the Bold incorporates a 3.2 megapixel camera, so you can shoot videos lasting a practical amount of time. If you want to record more videos, you can insert a microSD card. The Bold 9700 also incorporates a video flash. Although when the current 8 and 12 megapixels are taken into account, the 3.2 megapixel camera that the Bold 9700 provides looks a little insignificant, it has other features that make it popular. The most significant enhancement is the inclusion of an autofocus.

The screen of the 9700 is larger than the earlier version. It is also more attractive. Additionally, instead of the trackball, the new Blackberry uses a spanking new trackpad. This is a great improvement, because it offers a trendy experience to Blackberry users. So, just as the BlackBerry 9860 price is justified by its features, the Bold 9700 is worth every penny.

As far as battery life is concerned, the Bold 9000 was appalling. Users only could use their phones for a few hours, but with the Bold 9700, it typically takes longer for the battery to drain.
